Corticeira Amorim was chosen to seal the oldest malt whisky in the world - the Mortlach 70 years old, by Gordon & MacPhail - and the most expensive, the Dalmore Trinitas 64, whose price is around 118 thousand Euros per bottle. The stoppers are from the Top Series collection, developed on the basis of extensive know-how and state-of-the-art technology. This collection of capsulated stoppers was launched by Amorim Luxury Unit to meet the needs of premium spirit producers. It has a natural cork base to which a range of materials can be added, such as wood, stone or precious metals, to take on exclusive shapes and an innovative design. A stopper with a metal capsule and silver finish was designed for the Gordon & MacPhail whisky, which has a tear-drop shaped crystal decanter. In the case of the Dalmore Trinitas 64, the capsule attached to the cork stopper is made of dark wood with a silver finish.
