OnCork is Amorim’s onboarding programme, bringing together employees hired over the past six months so that new talents can meet, connect and gain a broader understanding of the organisation. This edition brought together 52 participants – some newly arrived, others already close to being fully settled into their roles – all sharing the same goal: to pause, reflect and take part in an immersive experience within the company.
The programme included team-building activities and opportunities for close interaction with the Executive Board, encouraging the open sharing of experiences, expectations and, above all, perspectives. Over four days spent across auditoriums, the cork oak forest (montado) and production sites, employees from different business units were able to get to know one another, build relationships and exchange experiences. Visits to the factories and to the cork oak forest are also key components of the programme, offering direct contact with the product and processes - an essential step in developing a clear and integrated understanding of the business.
Now in its fifth edition, and held twice a year, OnCork continues to strengthen corporate values, align visions and build relationships that, in many cases, stay with participants throughout their journey at the company.
