Corticeira Amorim was distinguished with two awards attributed by the prestigious international magazine, World Finance, thus consolidating its position as a world reference in terms of sustainability in the wine products industry. The company was voted "Best Company for Carbon Reduction in the Wine Products Industry" at the World Finance Carbon Awards 2024, which recognize leading companies in the field of decarbonisation, through continuous transformation, reduction of environmental impact and adoption of innovative technologies to mitigate CO₂ emissions.
At the World Finance Sustainability Awards 2025, Corticeira Amorim was once again voted "Most Sustainable Company in the Wine Products Industry", a distinction it has held since 2019. These awards recognise companies whose ambition extends beyond regulatory compliance, that are setting new standards in terms of climate responsibility, social equity and sustainable innovation, thereby inspiring global change towards a more resilient future.

In 2024, Corticeira Amorim achieved a 9.1% reduction in energy consumption and an 8.8% reduction in CO₂ emissions, reflecting the concrete impact of its sustainable strategy. The company continues to focus on strengthening the use of renewable energies, which already account for 68.3% of all its energy consumption, protecting cork oak trees and regenerating local territories and also contributing with carbon-negative stoppers, validated by APCER, which significantly reduce the global carbon footprint of wine packaging.
