This involves an undertaking to implement a set of shared and company-specific actions aligned with the Sustainable by Nature programme, which sets out the Group’s ESG ambitions for 2030, with a focus on preserving cork oak forests and promoting the ecosystem services associated with cork.
As part of its 2025–2027 strategic cycle, Corticeira Amorim has renewed and updated its commitments under act4nature. This new phase incorporates revised targets and additional objectives, ensuring the continuity and consolidation of initiatives already underway.
Key actions include identification of High Conservation Values (HCVs) across managed properties, the planting and maintenance of 200,000 cork oak trees between 2025 and 2027 as part of reforestation and forest densification projects, as well as the training of employees in biodiversity and sustainable management practices.
