In addition to leading the industrial sector, the company also ranks among the top 10 most responsible companies in Portugal in 2025, in a ranking that assesses corporate performance across environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions.
The ranking is the result of a rigorous evaluation process, based on six different assessments, 15 information sources and a total of 3,651 surveys.
The Merco ESG Responsibility Portugal 2025 ranking involved the participation of 288 senior executives, 36 corporate social responsibility specialists, 45 financial analysts, 52 journalists covering the economy and society, 31 government representatives, 40 social and environmental NGOs, 40 trade union representatives, 40 consumer associations, 41 social media managers, 1,008 Merco University Talent surveys and 2,000 citizens surveyed under Merco Society.
This ESG recognition adds to other recent Merco distinctions, which also place Corticeira Amorim at the top of the Corporate Reputation ranking in the industrial sector in 2025.
