Corticeira Amorim continues to support financial literacy among young people through its partnership with the “No Poupar Está o Ganho” (A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned) programme, promoted by the António Cupertino de Miranda Foundation. The 16th edition of the programme’s final competition once again received the company's support for the awards ceremony, which brought together more than 800 participants.
As part of its commitment to helping shape future generations of informed and responsible consumers, Corticeira Amorim supports this initiative, which aims to raise awareness of key financial literacy topics, including saving, responsible consumption and money management. Over the past 16 years, the programme has reached more than 150,000 students and is currently active in 150 municipalities across Portugal.
The event welcomed more than 800 attendees, including students, teachers, families, local government representatives and institutional partners. Throughout the academic year, more than 34,000 students took part in the programme, demonstrating the knowledge they had acquired through games, videos, digital books, songs and theatrical performances. Their projects explored a range of topics, including the circular economy, insurance and financial planning.
