Frequent and long-lasting dialogue

Corticeira Amorim believes in the vital role played by its stakeholders to ensure sustainable management of its activities, define strategic priorities and improve the Company's performance.

For this reason, it maintains a frequent and long-lasting dialogue with all stakeholders, encouraging their regular participation through questionnaires and interviews, in order to identify their key concerns and expectations regarding the most relevant matters that need to be monitored and communicated.

All persons or entities that have or may have an influence, dependence and / or responsibility for the Company are identified as Corticeira Amorim’s stakeholders.

On the basis of this selection criterion, eight main groups of stakeholders have been identified:

In view of its commitment to stakeholders, the company seeks to act in an ethical and responsible manner:

  • Promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty through the development of differentiating and competitive products and services;
  • Ensuring value creation for shareholders over the medium and long term, through responsible competitiveness;
  • Preserving a relationship of trust with stakeholders, in particular suppliers, customers and society in general.

Engaging with stakeholders

Since 2009, Corticeira Amorim has been carrying out regular consultation and ongoing engagement processes with stakeholders, promoting their participation and integrating the results of the engagement processes, namely their concerns and expectations, into the definition of its sustainability strategy and materiality review.

This procedure, which is also part of the due diligence process, informs the administrative, management and supervisory bodies, provides an understanding of external developments and the expectations of the market and other stakeholders, as well as anticipating new opportunities and risks, which is fundamental for validating and identifying strategic priorities.
