CORTICEIRA AMORIM registers strong improvement in 2006 results
2006
- Sales reached 442,6 million euros (M€), up 3,4%; strong contribution from Corkflooring Business Unit (BU) (+7,6%).
- Net profit attributable to CORTICEIRA AMORIM shareholders rose to 20,104 M€ at year end, up 27,7% when compared to 2005.
- EBITDA registered 56 M€, more than doubling first half, driven by growth in Sales and Gross Margin.
- The same for growth in EBIT (+27,4%) and EBT (+30,9%).
- Fourth quarter sound performance boosted full year activity: Sales (+7,2%),and Net Profit (+64,8%).
- In spite of a slowdown in the second half, Gross Margin kept its high performance (48,5%).
